Startups, Marathons and Stikkits

Great post about how to approach being a startup, related to Stikkit which I'm having trouble finding use for which is a shame because it's a very clever service, just doesn't suit the way I tend to work, If I were always connected then it would be different, or perhaps more specifically for me if I could update it over SMS then it would be useful.

I know I can mail in a stikkit, so I could write a mail offline and send when I get connected but if I'm going to do that why not just create the note locally using QS which is the way i like doing it now?

I'm assuming the point I am missing is that Stikkit will automagically process my notes for me, and maybe I'm missing the usefulness of this due to the way I work but it just isn't happening, when I want to make a todo or just a note about something I'm not thinking stikkit, even though I have a desire to use it, instead I hit ctrl-space and with a few keys pop it into a todo file, the though just struck me that if I format my notes to be stikkit friendly then I could periodically mail the todo file to stikkit and let it process it for me, then maybe I could start to see the usefulness...hmmm might have to come back to this one..

!!! thinking as typing now, why not a stikkit plugin for QS? basically replace the 'append to -> todo' with a 'stik this' action, now that might be a winner !

Update: I just tried the mail in todo and turns out attachments aren't parsed so that means I would have to open the file, select all the text, and then paste into a mail - yuch, now I may need to see if it's a lack of Magician QS skills that's causing this
