I'm too Old for this shit.....

I'm very nearly 40 (tomorrow) and figured I'd take stock in hopefully a non mid-life crisis way..

I've got my health, sort of, can't run but can still walk, play golf but not football, get up the stairs but not a cliff...

I've almost got all my own teeth, just one crown/cap that's getting replaced soon as keeps falling out

I've got enough money to make life comfortable but can't go buy a Porsche yet

Got two wonderful kids (most of the time) who are both healthy and happy and probably a little spoilt

Got a nice house that isn't falling apart too much, although had to fix part of the roof this last weekend

Got a beer belly that's not the biggest it's ever been but smaller and heading in the right direction

Still smoking which makes 24 years off and on (mostly on) so need to stop that....

Forgotten more about technology than I've learned recently, used to be very good at VaxVMS, then very good at HP-UX, now I'm pretty good at reading RSS and email

Don't play multi player games anymore due to lack of time, in fact don't really play any games anymore and used to enjoy that a lot, maybe time to look in to that again

Well, heading out for a few Guinness tonight and most likely a curry, pretty good way to end your thirties and become a forty something I guess ...
