Bluetooth audio gateway & 6680

So I've been in a telco for over 15 years and have played with a TON of stuff and mostly it's a case of "well that's kind of ok" but every now and then a really exciting thing happens, it doesn't have to be groundbreaking or overly new as my access to the very latest stuff has dried up a bit lately but tonight I re-installed the bluetooth drivers on my laptop to sort out not getting the 6680 connected and a new service appeared called "Audio Gateway".

Intrigued I checked it out and found that it would make my laptop a psuedo headset for my phone, cool ! I thought so I rang my mate in the states and transparently and easily (as it should be) I chatted to him for ages about an upcoming O'Reilly VoIP conference with my laptop acting as the handsfree headset = way cool IMHO

Reminds me that when tech with a bad name works well it rocks, when it lives up to the expectation that it's a problem and doesn't work then it sucks but hey what's 3 reboots and uninstalls to get to a nirvana moment !
