Odeo + iTunes + iPod = Seamless

I know I'm not the only one who has messed about with iPodder and others, created smart playlists in iTunes, one to cpature all your casts and another to give a list of unplayed ones that can then be synced to your iPod which all in all is a royal pain in the a$$.

The trouble is that not all Podcasts are correctly tagged which means some manual messing about etc and it's also inherently untidy which I hate with a passion.

Step up iTunes simplicty with Odeo flair, after a bit of playing around I now have all that I want in one easy to use place (well two really)

Odeo does the front end UI for choosing what I want, aggregating my feed and supplying it to iTunes where once you have fiddled with the options allows you to only keep unplayed episodes and on top of that only keep unplayed on my iPod mini (but not my shuffle which is damn annoying)

So as far as Podcasting and consumption go I got it as good as I like it right now (which is a virtual guarantee that it will break soon for me !!)
