Reading on the Throne goes Digital

In a recent survey it seems like many Americans in a recent poll said they used the internet in their bathrooms, as the write of the post points out it is unlikely that they are doing it in the bath or while brushing their teeth so it must be when sitting on the bog!

I can see that, however I have very often used the net on my laptop while in the bath, it's easy and relaxing, I have also streamed music and tv while in there, I have worried about condensation but so far no sign of any problems there.

Being connected while 'in the small room' is nothing new to mobile users surely, sending a text or reading, playing a game or maybe even browsing the web of your RSS reader are all popular pastimes when it's a bit too obvious walking into an office toilet with laptop in hand !

Then it has to be said there are some people who think nothing of using the 'downtime' of sitting on the throne to catch up on a call or two - personally that's a step too far for me and it happened to me once, I heard the kids being dropped off in the pool and hung up, dirty bastard - oh and do remember to wash hands as modern phone keyboards can be rife with bacteria already........
