First trip to Paris today, first flight 06:15, took off 07:50, nuff said. It does highlight the problem with using small regional airports and city hopper type services, the reason was that the crew were so late in the night before that for legal reasons regarding rest they were not able to start work early enough so the flight was already an hour late as of last night.
I knew this before I got to the airport as the taxi firm I use also pickup the KLM crew for the flight I take and they were not booked in to be picked up til 06:30 so I knew something was wrong right from when my taxi was late and I rang up to check on it.
hey ho - let's hope this in't indicative of the travel year ahead for me...
Landed at CDG 6 hours after I got up, will probably get to the office about 7.5 hours in, pretty much a working day already, maybe I should just go to the hotel and sleep ;)
