Whilst in the Lounge at Schipol airport I got two attempts to 'pass' me some Symbian install files, I missed the name of the first one but the second was called r4jsxh1.sis
It struck me as odd until I realised that whoever was sending was either naive, unaware or just plain stupid as my device advertises itself on Bluetooth as WM_HAY00I1 as in windows mobile but easy to mistake for a Symbian phone I guess !?
A part of me wanted to accept to see what windows mobile would do with it, not that I expected it to work but interesting to see a virus on an unintended platform but as I am heading out on a week long trip I didn't want to mess up my only handset
Update: i got another attempt when I was in the hotel shuttle leaving the airport here, even stranger that I should get one then as the only other people on the bus were two old ladies
